About Tia

I have been a nanny for over 12 years and love it! What other job do you get to play all day? I grew up in Millinocket a very small town in Maine. Where everyone knows your name! I am incredibly Blessed to have grown up with a very loving family! My family means everything to me, we are very close. I also have experience working in the hospital setting as a nurses aid. I worked in the ER, Cancer center, Elder care, and Recovery. As you can imagine you must be a caring loving person able to exude patients. This also taught me how multitask and run a tight ship! I consider myself to be fun, loving, caring, up beat, loyal, and a energetic person. Children do and say something amazing everyday; I love that I get to be a part of that. I really enjoy playing and having fun with the children. I use creative learning, including arts and crafts, positive reinforcement, and fun all wrapped up in a loving, caring environment. It's important to have rules and limits. I find that time outs work great! I always talk with the child about why he/she had to be placed in a time out! This helps reiterate that behavior is not okay! It's all about the children growing and learning as little people! I just get the privilege of lending a helping hand! I am very good at my job and would love opportunity to talk with you more.
