I am Massachusetts State certified to work with children from age 6 and under. . I am CPR /First Aid certified. I have my BA in Human Services from Umass Boston and an M. Ed from American International College. I found the passion for working with children when I first sign up for an internship though Umass Boston in 2006. My major quickly changed from Communication to Human Services - where I focused on Education. My biggest thing to teach young children is STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). I believe is a growing field where technology will always continue to grow. Teaching children early will help develop their science skills early. Many people always wonder why do we teach STEM so early, they will forget about it. If Educators continue to teach students early they will build a strong foundation to help jump start their futures. Thuy has the biggest heart for children. She is hard working and very personable. She was the first nanny I ever hired and made my experience a great one. She eased my mom guilt and made my life so much easier by taking great care of my child during the summer while I was very pregnant with my second and didn't have the energy to keep up. Thuy was also my child's teacher and was just as dedicated in the classroom. She is great at taking children on field trips safely and making each day an adventure. Also, she has a hobby of couponing and finds THE BEST deals! I would hire her again for sure.
