I am a registered nurse with many years of experience caring for others, primarily seniors. I have a strong desire to help keep folks in their homes and as independent as possible. My background includes having been a wellness director overseeing the independent living residents in a large retirement community. In addition to delivering nursing care, I also helped many folks with advanced planning, exploring different options for care, and assistance with navigating long-term care insurance companies in order to utilize their benefits in their home, rather than a care facility. I have managed medications for seniors, managed appointments with physicians and other healthcare related services. I also have quite a bit of experience with folks who have dementia and have taken courses through the Alzheimer's Association.
