About Theresa

Hi there, thank you for checking out my profile! I'm an enthusiastic, positive caregiver who's worked with kids of all ages. Every stage of childhood has something special to offer, so it's hard to pick a favorite! I have been working with kids since I was 14. I started out by teaching Sunday school, which led to babysitting for various families at church. I nannied for a few families through my undergraduate program, and most recently interned as a school social worker at a K-8 school teaching social-emotional learning, with a strong focus on coping skills and self empowerment. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent children of various ability levels, especially children with autism. I can help with entertaining the kids, homework, light cooking, and occasional errands. both in and outside of the home. I have a BA in psychology, and am working towards a master's in social work.
