I'm Tessie, a childcare professional with 10+ years of experience caring for children from infancy through preteens. My background includes nannying, teaching dance and gymnastics, supervising school-age programs, and supporting children with diverse needs including ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, sensory differences, mood disorders, ODD, diabetes, and limited verbal communication. I am currently employed as a public school paraeducator. I'm American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certified, along with a lifeguard certification, background-checked, fingerprinted, and trained in de-escalation, safe transportation, restorative practices, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
