About Tessa

I have babysat it for various families in high school and have had multiple volunteer jobs that involve working with kids. I babysat consistently for a family with elementary school aged daughters but I have had experience babysitting for children a year and older. From these experiences I have learned how to better manage sibling disagreements and age differences. I have also watched kids a local shelter while their parents have taken class. While at the shelter I have entertained and managed many kids at one time. As well, I have worked at the library, where I promoted summer reading for kids through fun interactive programs. Kids have such wonderful imaginations and curious insights, which I miss seeing now that I am in college surrounded by peers my age. I want to babysit so I can help out in the community and have an aspect of life that I have grown accustomed to back in place. I also have some interest in teaching in the future in some capacity.
