About Tessa

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, humorous. I am passionate about creating a supportive, fun and challenging environment for children to grow up in and learn about the world around them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use creativity and intelligence to help create projects and experiences that help build emotional, social, mental and physical health in young children. I started working with children when I was 11. I was a nanny for newborn to preschool age for several years. I was a nanny for school age children for several years. I was a full time preschool teacher in a project approach international school for 10 years and continued nanny and babysitting jobs as well. In my spare time, I like to write children's books! I have reliable transportation of my own. I have experience with pets and animals. I have experience with special needs and allergies. I am CPR, AED and First Aid certified by Red Cross 2026.
