About Tessa

I was raised in the beautiful islands of Hawaii and moved to California 4 years ago where I received a degree in business and started my career in PR. I spent most of high school and summers home from college as a babysitter or full-time nanny and love working with children. Like many, I was laid off due to Covid and have returned to childcare. I've had many years of experience, paid and unpaid, part-time and full-time, watching kids of all ages and needs and have plenty of references I'm happy to offer! My sister is 12 years younger and suffers from multiple birth defects. This has really helped me understand childhood development and I love to apply techniques I learned from my sister's physical and occupational therapists while playing games with children. My biggest goal is to get kids off the couch, away from the TV, and doing something creative.
