About Tessa

Hello! I have always loved working with children, and I find it to be very rewarding. As I reached adulthood, I struggled to decide what I wanted to do with my life, but knowing I had a love for working with kids, I decided to look into nannying. I nannied a little girl from February 2022 to May 2023, who was 10 months old when I started. As her nanny, I would feed her three balanced meals and several snacks throughout the day, create age appropriate activities for her, take her to the library and parks, and take care of the five dogs in the house. I also grocery shopped, took care of the girl's laundry, and did some light housekeeping. It was at this job that I decided I really wanted to have a career in Early Childhood Education, and in July of 2022, I started at the University of NH (online) for a degree in ECE. As of May 2023, I have been a co-teacher in a classroom with kids of 17-24 months old, and I have loved it, and found it to be more rewarding than I could have ever hoped.
