I have been working with one family for two years now with a 13-year-old girl with Rhett's syndrome and a few months with her two younger brothers - aged 6 months old and 2 years old. I also help a friend with her 6-year-old son who is on the spectrum. In addition, I have had loads of previous experience with other families and close friends with babysitting, both with kiddos with autism (high and low needs) and those that are neurotypical - from newborn to teens. I prefer to be engaging and have kiddos be mentally stimulated or get some physical/tactile play in rather than sitting them down in front of a screen, but of course whatever you as a parent find to be the best balance, I'm here for! I also am very big on allowing kiddos space to talk about their feelings big and small to help navigate them through regulation and self soothing. Also open to senior care! Open Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Tessa has been working with us for a few weeks now and we are thrilled to have found her! Tessa is punctual and quick to respond to texts. She is extremely flexible and willing to help out with all sorts of things (dog care). She is kind, gentle, and caring- our almost 2 year old daughter warmed up to her right away. She engages our daughter with books, toys, and music, and is able to redirect when we get a little cranky :) I was very anxious heading back to work and leaving my daughter initially, but I felt very comfortable with Tessa immediately and I am so grateful we found her. I would recommend her to anybody looking for excellent childcare.
