Aloha! My name is Tessa and I'm from Minnesota. I went to Columbia University in nyc where I was a D1 diver, U of MN and U of HI-Manoa in undergrad studying biology, environmental science, neuroscience, public health and Spanish. I also studied yoga, ceramics and mindfulness. During undergrad, I was a full time nanny for the same family for six years, a pair of twins from the ages of 5-11. I also nannied two newborns from 0-6months and a toddler from 16 mo to 24 mo in Honolulu. During 2020, I helped four boys as a teachers assistant and a nanny. I was a mental health assistant for kids with developmental disabilities, such as autism. I also was a volunteer at the children's hospital for 6 years. I'm currently getting my phd in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine on island and I'm looking for a part-time gig while I'm in grad school for the next few years.

Tessa has been an extension of our family for most of my children's lives. She became their regular nanny - mostly in the summers but many times during the school year as well - and won over our whole family with her peaceful, fun and loving approach to life. Over their 6 summers together, our boys came to love the many outdoor adventures Tessa would bring them on. These outings have instilled a love of adventure and nature in our boys that will carry them through their lives. Tessa will always be a part of our family, and I couldn't recommend her more to be part of yours as well.
