About Terra

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, outgoing, friendly. I like caring for seniors because I relate very well to seniors. I love history, old stories and photos. Often, caring for seniors is an opportunity for gathering pearls of wisdom. The wisdom isn't always tangible, but there's something to glean by being in senior company. Most personally, I grew up under the care of my grandfather and loved it. I also enjoy my other work doing activities in assisted living. I'm looking for a job that dovetails with my interests as an assisted living Activities Director. I started caring for seniors when my grandfather started having difficulties living independently. In my spare time, I like to arts, crafts, and cooking. One thing you should know about me is I own and co-operate assisted living homes. My skills include engagement (social, cognitive, emotional, physical and creative), companionship and personal care.
