My name is Terinney and I am Medical student. I earned my Masters of Public Health at UC Berkeley, where I focused on maternal & infant growth, and received my Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Howard. I am primarily a Math, Science, and English tutor for middle school, high school, and college students. I have lived in Costa Rica and Spain, and now hold both TEFL and TESOL certifications to teach foreign languages. I am fluent in Spanish and have experience in tutoring children of all ages in a variety of subjects. I was raised in Houston, TX working in my mother's home registered daycare which began my acquaintance with childcare. I have worked with infants from 1-month-old up to children of all ages. I am CPR and BLS certified in infants and adults. Children love my vibrant and nurturing personality. Through my experiences, I recognize that safety, comfort and communication are all extremely important when caring for children. I look forward to working with you!

Terinney is an absolute angel! Her beaming positive attitude is infectious! She offers an organic sense of comfort. From the first time she watched our young 7 months old, she has been a part of our family. She is punctual, responsive and always willing to go above and beyond. She checks in, frequently as she knows I am very much a worrier. Even my oldest son, who does not need a "babysitter" enjoys her company. We appreciate her, tremendously and will continue to use her for future dates.
