I am a retired credentialed Middle School Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. My focus was Math, Language Arts, and History. In addition, I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to Middle school, I taught at various elementary schools in the Ventura area. I have a supplemental certificate in teaching reading. I have tutored individual elementary and middle school students and adult learners as well. My first career was as an Occupational Therapist, so I have a good understanding about how the human brain works, and believe that teaching needs to cater to the individual's learning style.
