About Terese

Looking to share my weekdays with a couple kids as a semi-retirement job employing Montessori principles and offering add-on services to parents (home-cooked dinners to go, serving breakfast, and sack lunches for school kids, potentially transporting kids to/from nearby schools). I'm a big fan of music for kids and have several instruments for hands-on exploration; plan for lots of art and crafting, reading and learning; will have pretty strict house rules on minimal and selective screen time; and see my role as an advocate and life coach to the kids in my care. I live two blocks from Ercolini Park and the Alaska Junction for daily outings. I was a constant and passionate babysitter in my teens and raised two daughters, now adults and my neighbors and best friends. Looking forward to caring for my grandson in a few months, and expand to include a few other kids.
