About Teresa

I am a college educated mother of seven. I home-schooled my children when they were younger and am now interested in providing quality childcare for your family. I have been working with children my whole life. I've worked as a day camp counselor and have volunteered in my children's schools and at our church. I currently work as a youth ministry leader at our church. As a mother, I promise to care for your children as if they were my own. I am an interactive person and believe children should be engaged in activity not simply put in front of a television all day. I also believe in the power of reading. A child can go anywhere and be anything they dream through the pages of a book. Also, as a mother of many I am able to multi-task well and do not mind doing light cooking and cleaning while I care for your child. As a former home-schooler, I also have the ability to teach your young child things such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, simple printing and phonics upon request.
