My first job of caring for an elderly person for was an elderly lady, who had suffered a stroke. I helped with restroom and bathing. I prepared meals, light housekeeping and companionship. After that, I was with an elderly man for over four years. I was his constant companion, helping with doctors appointments, pet care, and housekeeping. My most recent job was with an elderly lady who had Alzheimer's/dementia. I was with her almost 5 years. I prepared meals, cleaned, did meds, doctors appointments, Took care of payroll, and any needs that arose in the home. Sadly, she has recently passed away. I don't smoke or drink. I love pets. I have reliable transportation. I am passionate about caring for seniors, because I feel like they still hold a very important place in our society!
