About Teresa

I have been caring for children in and out of my home for 26 years. I am currently working (2years) as Head Teacher in a child care center with 18-24-month-old children (I have a Head Teacher certificate from the state of Delaware). Prior to this I spent 16 years as a stay at home mother of four. My children are now 19, 17, 15, and 12 years old. During my time at home I also cared for 30 other children at one time or another (some during school years, some during summers). I have also worked as a Nanny prior to having my own children. Children have always been an important part of my life. Infants and toddlers are my favorite age group, everything is new and exciting for them. I have enjoyed getting back into the work force but not sure the daycare center is where I want to be. I have always felt young children should be nurtured in a home setting, with flexibility and spontaneity. I am looking for a family that would be a fit with the family I have. I'm looking for full time 30+ hour
