About Teresa

I am a responsible, dependable, caring, and nurturing sitter. I love to create playful and creative spaces with children, and I also hold strong boundaries and understand a child's need for structure. I take safety and parent instructions/feedback very seriously. I hope to be a genuinely valuable part of your family's support system. I have prior experience as an after-care Waldorf kindergarden teacher, which provided training in caring for children ages 3-7 in a way that fosters cognitive, emotional, and spiritual growth and development. I have been a long-term sitter for two families, helping with children ages 1-5. I am now finishing a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology. My courses and training have offered me deeper knowledge and insight into child development. In addition to babysitting, I hope to work with kids as a psychotherapist and one day to care for children of my own. I have a reliable vehicle and am happy to assist with transportation, errands, and chores.
