About Tekyra

My name is Tekyra and I am more than happy to care for your child(ren)! I am a patient and nurturing caregiver that likes to use creativity and imagination when teaching children. Having more than three years of experience under my belt, I have been able to care for up to three children at once. I am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have completed coursework in early childhood education and development, as well as First Aid and CPR training. I believe that communication is key, and I follow the parents' preferred method of communication to keep them informed about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I am comfortable enforcing household rules, but I always follow the parents' lead. My goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of the children I care for, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your family.
