About Tehya

Hi! I'm the oldest of seven children, so caring for younger kids has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping with my younger siblings and cousins and began assisting my mom with babysitting for family friends around age 11-12. In high school, I mentored middle school students through youth art programs in my hometown of Baltimore. I've also served four years on active duty in the military, where I've developed patience, responsibility, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations. I'm CPR trained and have completed military TCCC emergency-care training. I'm currently pursuing a bachelors degree in criminal justice. I also enjoy art, movies, music, reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors. I value a healthy, clean lifestyle and would love to provide families with dependable, caring, and safety-focused childcare.
