About Teesa

Hi! My name is Teesa, and I'm 21 years old. I recently moved from Utah to Seattle and I'm looking for a wonderful family to work with while I continue my schooling to become a nurse midwife. My childcare experience comes from teaching, church work, and babysitting. I spent a few years helping lead a children's class at my church with kids ages 3-9, and I previously taught a dance class for ages 6-10. I've also babysat for cousins, family friends, and neighbors, caring for kids of all ages except infants under 1 and teens older than 13. I also worked as a lifeguard, which taught me how to stay calm, alert, and safety-focused. I'd describe myself as patient, gentle, responsible, and creative. I love crafts, reading, going on walks, and creating fun activities that keep kids happy and engaged. I'm also happy to help with tidying, cleaning, meal prep, or homework. I'm CPR certified and always prioritize safety and communication.
