About Teel

I have cared for a friend who hospiced in my home and my own mother, who hospiced in her own home. I realized how very critical it is to have someone like myself who is sensitive, caring and patient through that final transition, to advocate for the individual's wishes, comfort and dignity. I have also cared for a neighbor who was elderly, helping her to get out for walks, run errands and have someone in the home during her bath, in case c she needed help. And I have had a job caring for a man in his late 70's, who was an artist with severe intellectual disability. In all cases, I strive to listen to and support the individual's wants and needs.
