About Tayna

I have been working with children since I was 16 (longer if you count that I am the oldest of five siblings!). I have 8 years of professional experience as a caretaker and educator. I worked at Stanford's Bing Nursery School teaching 2-5-year-olds with an emphasis on social emotional learning and children-led curriculum. I have worked as a live-in nanny and live-in pre-school teacher for infants and children ages 1-7. During college, I worked as a camp counselor for three summers with 5-18-year-olds, I led a summer curriculum program for 7-18-year-olds, I lived in Ecuador creating and implementing programming for 6-18-year-olds, I taught a dance summer camp for three years, and I babysat consistently. I speak Spanish fluently and am very passionate about the arts. My focus with children is rooted in assumed competence frameworks, an emphasis on social-emotional learning, and is tailored to the children and parent's needs. Excited to meet you
