About Taylor

I am in the process of applying to nursing school and am eager to leverage my background to provide support to your family. I obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Biology from CCSU. I am CPR certified and currently pursuing certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. During my EMT training, I gained experience in cardiac arrest management/AED, administering prescribed/rescue medications for critical situations such as anaphylaxis, ventilation of an apneic patient, bleeding control/shock management, spinal immobilization, and medical/trauma patient assessment. My professional experience includes serving as a medical assistant at Connecticut Children's, where I worked with patients ranging from newborns to adolescents. While employed at Connecticut Children's, I learned how to assist during seizure episodes and recognize the significance of timely administration of rescue medication. Additionally, I am adept at taking pediatric vital signs to evaluate patient conditions.
