About Taylor

Hello! My name is Taylor. I am in my fourth year of teaching 5th grade with Long Beach Unified. I have a BA in Elementary Education (CSULB), a K-8 teaching credential, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (GCU). I also have tons of experience nannying/tutoring for families. During COVID, I ran a a second-grade learning pod and conducted supplemental learning activities. I am comfortable in tutoring in all subjects K-8 as well as most high school subjects. I have experience working with children who are below grade level and in need of assistance as well as students who are ahead in need of a challenge. I am also well-versed in computer programs. I am patient, fun-loving, open-minded, and easy-going. Please reach out if you're interested in working together to create a successful school year for your child!
