We regret hiring Taylor. We liked her as a person and she was great with our 2.5 yr old daughter. Unfortunately, she was unreliable and unprofessional. Taylor was with us for 6 weeks and during that time, she missed almost 50% of her scheduled shifts with us (reoccurring, every Mon & Tues). There was always an excuse and rarely a heads up in advance, sometimes informing us after she was supposed to already be at our house for the day. We rolled with the punches because it's difficult to find childcare anywhere right now, and my husband and I are working professionals trying to stay employed. Taylor treated our part-time nannying job like an inconvenience rather than paid work helping a family. The grand finale was when she let us know she accidentally double booked for Tues and couldn't come in, but then was a no call/no show for Mon, the day before. We tried to get in touch but never heard from her again. Our daughter loved Taylor and was devastated when she disappeared without closure. No one deserves to be treated like this. Save yourself the headache and search elsewhere for a decent human being.
