I am currently the "mom" to two cats both of which I adopted 6 years ago. Unfortunately, I am only allowed to have two pets in our apartment complex, otherwise, I would have a dog too. I have always had pets in my life and therefore are extremely fond of them. Approximately 10 years ago, I worked for a friend who had, and still has, her own dog-walking business. Since that time, I have felt very comfortable with dogs of all temperaments. Lastly, a few years ago my father-in-law adopted a dog (Milo) who came from an abusive home. One consequence of Milo's past is my father-in-law has found Milo can be very difficult in certain situations, particularly when walking him. I personally have never experienced the same problems with Milo, although I have witnessed them, because I believe a dog needs consistency and kind firmness when it comes to obedience. I am primarily looking for a dog walking job, but I am also available for pet sitting in your home.
