Hi - my name is Taylor! I am a 26-year-old college student at Dominican University of California with an entirely remote program. I have a very flexible schedule and am ready to get to work! I come from a big family and I am no stranger to childcare, household chores and have even served as caretaker to my sick mother. I have been watching infants, toddlers and kids since I was 15 years old. My responsibilities have included school pick up and drop offs, driving to and from appointments/extra curriculars, homework assistance, housework and pet care. I am currently vaccinated, boosted and take regular tests to do my part during this pandemic. I have my own car (with valid license), I am more than comfortable with pets and a nonsmoker.

I appointed Taylor as a backup nanny while my full time nanny was out for a surgery. She did not have any paid experience as nanny or child care giver. However I asked her for reference for other jobs and wanted to have her as part time caregiver for my daughter. She did not send references until I reminded her couple of times till very last day before she was supposed to come. I confirmed her the dates and times and she confirmed the time with me on the day of arrival. She never arrived, she did not even let me know that she will not be coming. I texted her and found she blocked my number. Myself and my husband both work, so I had to take the day off to care for my baby. She was appointed for the whole 2 weeks, so we are in need to find care for our baby before we can join work. I feel that some people have lost basic morale and ethics even when they are willing to care for a child.
