Taylin initially responded to my job post and even came to my home to meet my baby. She expressed interest in the hours and confirmed she wanted the position. However, when I reached out a week before the end of my maternity leave to schedule a trial run, she never responded at all. No explanation, no courtesy reply — just complete silence. This kind of ghosting is extremely unprofessional. A simple “no longer interested” or “not available” would have been respectful and saved me from unnecessary stress during a critical transition back to work. Unfortunately, her lack of follow-through reflects a lack of maturity, respect, and professionalism. I would not recommend relying on her for childcare.
