Hi there! Taylah here! I've been a performance and literary arts teacher/mentor for the past 18 years, since working for my mom at her home daycare (2006), now private Christian school. Since then, I've worked with a number of youth organizations throughout the Chicagoland area, including After School Matters, Global Girls Inc., and Hyde Park School of Dance as a teaching artist, tutor and mentor for elementary to secondary school-aged students. Having always had a passion for dance, I established the PranceLife Finishing School of Ballet (2018), in which I mentored dancers between the ages of 1 and 75 in the discipline of classical ballet. I moved to Portland, OR in 2022 in response to new opportunities for personal/professional development by which I may greater serve my students upon relaunching classes at PranceLife.
