Previously I have provided child care out of my home for 5. Our days consisted of outdoor play time (weather permitting) and some sensory activities. I also provided healthy snacks and meal options. Most recently, I have been working with one family part time. Prior to watching children, I worked in health care for 10 years. In that time I went to school and got my certification as a nursing assistant. I have two boys of my own ages 11 and 17. My oldest was a product of being in daycare until he was school age, so I know first hand how hard it can be to entrust your baby to someone else's care. I love children and care taking comes natural to me.

We feel so lucky to have found Tawny. She has been caring for our son consistently since he was 6 months old, and she has built such a special bond with him. He absolutely loves spending time with her.

She is caring, dependable, and wonderful with children. She keeps him engaged throughout the day by playing with him, reading to him, doing activities, and making sure he is always safe and well cared for. She is very intentional about supporting his growth and development, helping him learn new skills and reach milestones through everyday play and encouragement.

She is attentive, patient, and has become someone we trust completely with our son. We would highly recommend her to any family looking for a loving, reliable, and trustworthy caregiver.

Tawny was phenominal with our three kids. She made sure they were all comfortable and finds creative ways to get things done (like brushing teeth), and our kids love her. We will certainly be hiring her again in the future!

Tawny was excellent with our daughter! She arrived punctually, was very easy to be around, nurturing, and our daughter loved her. She kept us updated with pictures and texts during our date night, so we felt very comfortable during our whole outing knowing our daughter was in excellent hands. We have already hired her for a second time! Cannot recommend Tawny enough - absolutely a natural with children and very loving. She also took great care of our 3 dogs while we were out as well! 11/10 would recommend ☺️

My husband and I didn’t have anyone in our network to trust with watching our first child. Enter Tawnya, from day one my gut felt safe and my child took to her immediately! It truly has been an answer to prayers and we are so grateful to have such a caring woman come into our lives, become like family, and be there for our daughter as she grows. Tawnya has adapted to our parenting style and been the best “nanny” we could have ever asked for! Any child is blessed to know her 🫶🏼

Tawny is a gift to our family and we feel like she's a part of it. She treats our toddler like he is her own and I wouldn't want it any other way. Tawny is nurturing, kind, and dependable. She's never been late, never no showed.  Since my son is our first,  She's even taught me a thing or two without even trying. When I leave our house, I have no worries at all. I know without a doubt my son is safe, and very well taken care of. I feel that Tawny is an extension of me to my son. I'm so thankful we found her. She is our life saver.

I can not say enough amazing things about Tawny. We are so grateful to have found her for our little one( 3months old). Tawny is sweet, caring and her love really shows. She went above and beyond to come meet us before starting to make sure we were a good fit together. She immediately made us comfortable in knowing that she would care for our girl the same way we do and honor our parenting choices. While watching her, Tawny sends updates and pictures. She is always so good to our 3 year old when he is home as well. As a mom, to have a person understand your kid's needs and a parents is a godsend. Not to forget she is great at communicating and always punctual even when I am not.

Tawnya was so attention and sweet to our little boy. She was punctual, dependable, great with communication and most important, involved with our son! She got on the ground and talked to him constantly! Would hire again for sure!

Tawnya is an incredible nanny/child care giver and has exceeded our expectations in many ways. As a new mom and someone who likes things done a certain way, I have been impressed with just how well Tawnya listens and with the diligence she takes in her care for our daughter. We prefer as little screen time as possible, and somehow Tawnya is able to entertain, engage, and interact our very active toddler all day with books and play time. As a mom herself, she has wonderful patience and the ability to build a strong bond in a short period of time with kids. She is an absolute professional, arriving early most days and communicating well in advance if any scheduling conflicts arise. My only regret is that we didn't find Tawnya sooner. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing childcare assistance and couldn't be happier that we found her. (Note, we are moving or else we would love to keep working with her because she is wonderful!)

We had an instant connection with Tawny from the moment she stepped into our home for our face to face meet and greet:)  She is warm, kind and has a loving spirit about her. We will hire her again as she made us feel very comfortable, sent us updates via text and is very dependable.  If you are looking for any daycare or date nights, look no further, you have found your girl!

She was absolutely amazing! She was on time and immediately made a connection with my son. Usually he cries every time I leave him,  but he was happy to stay with Tawny! Which made me relax and feel at ease with her being there with him all day. She fed him his lunch and snacks and kept me updated all day long. Checked in an sent so many cute photos. I was very impressed with her and look forward to booking with her in the future! She is the best!

We interviewed Tawnya at a local park beforehand and she was perfect! Kind, caring, patient and everything we were looking for in a sitter. She watched our 7 month old for 6 hours.  It was nerve-wracking for us as parents, being our first time with a sitter, but she said our baby did great. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept us updated. We will gladly hire Tawnya again

Our schedule flops a lot and Tawnya has been great working with us. Before her, we hired some others and she is the first one baby is okay staying with. She is respectful of your requests and will take care of your kids. For the first time, I don't have to worry about baby while I work. She's always on time and does an exceptional job! We never want her to leave because she is a catch.

Tawnya was awesome. She is very friendly and my two girls loved the time with her. Will definitely look to hire her again for future babysitting jobs.

Where do I even begin? We had the pleasure of hiring Tawnya through care.com about four years ago! She is an absolute gem! I honestly can't say enough about her. Her work ethic is impeccable. She always went above and beyond for my daughter and our family. When Covid hit- she even learned distant learning with us and helped our daughter on her assignments and made sure she stayed focus! 

The only reason she is not watching our daughter anymore is because we have moved to Florida. I wish we could take her with us!!! We will all miss her dearly!!!

I cannot recommend Tawnya enough!!! She was wonderful with all 3 of my kids when she came for an interview. She was great when she watched my 3 month old and 2 year old. She gave me hourly updates and pics. My kiddos were happy when I came back home and my house was picked up. We will be using her more in the future!
