Tashay was one of a few caregivers that helped provide care for a couple months for our mom who has Alzheimer’s. Tashay was wonderful with our mom. She was warm, caring, and always picked up extra shifts or tried to fill in if another care worker didn’t show up. She didn’t treat our mom as a client but as a friend or family. She would bring her treats, made meals for her, assisted her with her personal care needs in a safe, respectful, and compassionate manner. She would send us updates and check in on mom with us on days she didn’t see her. Tashay would also try to learn what mom liked such as music or lights being on, so she could include it in their time together.
