About Taryn

I am a fun, energetic, creative, collaborative and dependable self-starter. I owned a learning center for 25 years prior to relocating to Brentwood, TN. My experience is with mixed ages, birth to age 7, in a combined class of 10 children for 10 hours each day M-F. I have experience with ages 7-12 for summer and holidays. This is similar to a nanny share only in my home with preschool and kindergarten enrichment included. I am looking to continue the work I love on a smaller scale by finding a great family to work with. I have a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and cognate in Human Development accompanied by many certifications and continuing education hours in early childhood development and family engagement. I am an advocate of play based learning and am intentional to establish an environment, play dates and curriculum to encourage social-emotional intelligence, cause and effect, deductive reasoning, autonomy and responsibility while having fun!
