I've been a nanny since 1999, and caring for children has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I've become an honorary member of several families and have stayed close with former nanny kids-even being invited to their weddings! I specialize in infants and toddlers and have extensive experience with baby-led weaning, potty training, and language development. I've also taught preschool and taken courses in child development and children's literature. I love encouraging empathy, creativity, curiosity, and independence through books, art, pretend play, and adventures. I'd happily take nanny kids to museums, libraries, pools, or music, art, and swimming lessons. I'm warm, easygoing, funny, and comfortable with pets. Most importantly, I want children to feel safe, loved, respected, and excited to spend their day with me. I'm looking for a family where I can build a lasting relationship and become someone they can truly count on.

Taryn interviewed with us for a full-time nanny position. She was so sweet and so comfortable with our little one. She has great experience in addition to being prompt and professional during our phone and in-person interviews. She has a fun, engaging personality. Our daughter took to her right away. Even our cat, who is normally terrified of strangers, was comfortable approaching her. We would be completely comfortable leaving our little one in the care of Taryn. The only reason we didn't hire her (and we really wanted to!) is because we found someone else with experience caring for our child with special needs. Whoever hires her is going to end up with a great nanny!
