About Taryn

My name is Taryn and I am a rising third year at Cal Poly SLO studying health and law. I've been working with children for around 8 years now, and have strengthened my skills in personal, volunteer, and professional environments. I've worked at my dance studio, at a nonprofit called Down Syndrome Connection, babysitting, and at a professional summer camp. While babysitting, I foster creativity, curiosity, and growth in children. Whether this means practicing a new sport, helping with homework, playing favorite board games, or building new skills, I'm happy to help! In the past, I've taught children how to sew, bake, paint, dance, and more- but I'm also happy watching movies, chatting, and supervising more restful activities. I also have experience with animals! I'm home for the summer until the end of August and looking for a reoccurring schedule or even just occasional date nights. I'd love to help you and your family out no matter your schedule.
