About Taryn

Hi, my name is Taryn, I have been in the professional pet care industry for almost 3 years. I began my work in the pet care field as a kennel technician at an animal boarding facility. There, I was in charge of caring for every animal in the facility including feeding, walking, playtimes, medicating, and grooming. I was soon promoted to management, this experience has been a huge help in offering my services! I continued this job for 2 years until I moved from home. After moving I started an assistant technician position at a local animal hospital. During my time there I gained more knowledge on different medications, administering medications, working with senior animals, and Working with diet changes. During my time at the two companies, I worked with aggressive and non-aggressive animals learning how to care for them safely, as well as learning basic grooming services such as nail trims, nail buffings, and ear cleanings.
