I currently have a small rescue, private to myself, that consists of 4 dogs, 23 cats, 3 bunnies, and a turtle. I moved from Chicago to Canyon Country 10 years ago and knew I wanted to help in ways that would not mentally destroy me. Shelter work is not for me. It's devastating, and I would feel gutted leaving all those animals behind. So I'm doing my own thing. I've cared for hundreds of dogs and cats in my lifetime and will continue to do what I can as long as I can. I'm grateful for each and every animal that I've loved in this lifetime.
