Hi there! My name is Tara. I've been professionally involved in the senior care/living industry for nearly 6 years, but my experience goes back much further. I grew up helping care for my grandparents, which initially sparked my interest in working with older adults. While in college, I worked at as an Adult Day Program and Recreation Assistant gaining hands-on experience in a group care settings. Since then, I've continued to build on that foundation and have worked in senior living sales and have orovided occasional home care and support. I recently left my positin as Director of Sales and am looking to provide companion care and other homecare services. I'm committed to offering compassionate, respectful, and reliable care and have experince supporing individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Tara has been a wonderful caregiver to my husband, who has Alzheimer's Disease. She is understanding and educated about the disease and the best ways of communicating with someone who has cognitive impairment. She has worked for me for more than a year. She always goes above and beyond in her efforts to be helpful to both me and to my husband. She is reliable and extremely honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to care for others also.
