About Tara

I am a graduate of SUNY Empire State College, having earned a B. S. in Psychology. I majored in the Early Childhood/Elementary Education(N-6) program at SUNY Cortland where much of my coursework was in the field of Early Childhood Education. I've worked as a substitute teacher and was employed at A New England Nanny of Clifton Park for several years, working with a diverse group of children and families. I held two positions with the Mental Health Association in Fulton and Montgomery Counties. One as an Assistant in the Advantage After School Program and the other as a Residence Counselor in the Children & Youth Community Residence Program. I left my position as a kindergarten Teaching Assistant in 2020 when I had a child. I believe that my education, experience, and strong passion for working with children qualify me as an excellent candidate.
