About Tara

Experience: 1 yr

Hi, I'm Tara! I recently moved up to Brooklyn from central Florida. I attended the University of Florida, and I majored in public relations and theatre. My younger cousin was born when I was 12. As my aunt was a single mom, I helped a lot with my cousin's care and really treasured my time with her. This experience made me want to get more involved in with babysitting and childcare. I love to read, go on scenic walks, and I'm super passionate about the arts! Please feel free to reach out with any questions! I'd describe my personality as welcoming, humorous and reliable!

Tara worked with us, caring for our 7 year old, for two weeks while our nanny was away. She was kind, organized and engaged with him in a great way the whole time. She took him to classes and appointments, helped with homework and they played games together every day. She was always on-time and had great instincts navigating his needs and safety. We will definitely use her again and recommend her highly.
