About Tara

Hi! My name is Tara. I am a mom of 6 (only one left in the nest), a licensed substitute teacher, and I have homeschooled, tutored, and taught at a private school in the past. I absolutely love kids, and especially babies and teens. I always treat kids with respect, kindness, and autonomy. I believe firmly that they deserve the same recognition of their individual wants and needs as adults do, so it is always my goal to build a mutually respectful and trusting relationship with them as the foundation of every interaction. I am neurospicy, so I have an affinity for neurospicy and twice exceptional kids. We get each other. I love art, crafts, science projects, being outside, swimming, reading, singing, doing puzzles, and random dance parties. I have a dog and two cats, so along with all my kids, I am used to living in a fun, zoo-like environment. But I am very organized and clean.
