About Tara

I am 25, have my bachelors degree in psychology from Boston College, and will be starting my Master's in School Counseling (K-12) this fall at Fordham University. I am seeking a nanny position during my time in school. My courses are in the evenings Monday through Wednesday so my schedule is very flexible. Most of my experience with children is within a school setting. I spent 2 years working in a K-12 school in Newark, NJ in an operations role. Much of my role included nursing duties, overseeing individualized education plans (IEPs), managing school systems including emergency planning, and general school facility management. I am extremely comfortable with dogs, cats, furry rodents, fish, and bearded dragons. I have a license and am comfortable driving in the city (have experience driving in all 5 boroughs and crossing between Manhattan and New Jersey). Also extremely happy to help with housework and cleaning.
