About Tara

Hi there! My name is Tara. I am 33 years old and a new(ish) Texan, originally from Ohio. I studied human development and family sciences with a focus in child development at The Ohio State University. I have been babysitting since age 14, and have nannied professionally for two families long term, including twin toddlers for 2 years. I took a nanny break and spent 7 years working for a large children's hospital in Columbus, OH, but still found time to babysit on weekends. When it comes to childcare, safety is my number one priority. I strive to create a space where kids feel happy, comfortable, and free to be themselves, with plenty of bonding, laughter, and fun - regardless of their age. I take pride in being honest and dependable, and take my role very seriously. In my free time I am wedding planning, reading, baking sourdough bread, and spending time with our rescue chihuahuas.
