About Tara

I have recently left a company that I had been at for the past 15 years and ready to enjoy what I do for work. I have always enjoyed working with children and was previously in a Teaching program and wanted to teach kindergartners. Yes, I might be slightly crazy but I enjoy the chaos. I did switch my major to Nursing though and I am currently in a Nursing program. I believe this opportunity will give me a chance to have a better work/school life balance. I am a mom myself to three amazing and wild kids, 16, 11, and 8 so I am used to the madness and the different personalities that come with kids. I am also CPR certified. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, open and compassionate. One thing you should know about me I truly care about people and I try to be a safe place for anyone. Having kids myself I understand how scary it is to leave them with someone else. I understand the responsibility of the job. My skills include problem solving, active listening and compassion.
