I am retired with 20 years of service with the New York City Board of Education, working with the Universal Pre-K Program, as well as with the upper grades. After retiring, I knew that I had to return to what I do best and missed so dearly. I sought out and got a part-time position with the after school program. After the program, I started my profile on Care. com. I immediately began working with several families through care. com who's references are listed below. I am also a grandmother to a 12-year-old, 10-year-old and 7-year-old, who I care for on some weekends. I am available to care for your child full time or part time, your home or mine. I offer a loving, child friendly, and safe environment. CPR certified. I hope to be of help to someone with whatever child care needs they might have.

Tanya has been such a gift to our family. She started watching/teaching my 4-year-old son back in September 2020 after we decided to keep him home from preschool. I was able to work from home, but needed help watching and preparing him for kindergarten. We were so blessed to find Tanya, who is warm, caring and also has a teaching background - she was the perfect fit. In the time she was with us, I saw my son continue to grow the skills he had learned from his previous year in preschool. I was always amazed at what he had accomplished with her at the end of each day and all of the wonderful art and science projects she did with him, in addition to his letters, numbers, etc. She was extremely reliable and flexible and worked with my schedule each week. Tanya is such an amazing and nurturing person and we absolutely love her! I would recommend Tanya to any family!
