About Tanner

Hi! I'm Tanner, a PhD student with a background in teaching and working with kids. For the past several years, I've had the opportunity to teach middle school ELAR full-time. It's been one of my life's greatest joys to help them build confidence, and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable learning and growing. I had to step away from full-time teaching as I pursue my own high education. I've always enjoyed working with children and building positive relationships with families. I'm patient, dependable, and enjoy helping kids with homework, exploring their interests, and making everyday activities fun and engaging. Outside of teaching, I love movies, reading, playing piano and guitar, and spending time outdoors. I'm currently looking for part-time childcare and tutoring opportunities that fit alongside my graduate studies, and I'd love the chance to support your family.
