About Taniya

Hi! I'm Taniya (Ta-nye-yah) and I am currently a senior psychology student at the University of Illinois. I have had lots of experience working with children in the past couple of years. Through the university, I was a mentor at a local elementary school, working with 3rd-5th graders. In addition, last summer, I worked at a daycare with children ranging from infant age to pre-k. This summer, I have been working at a day camp with children ranging from age 5-12. I have learned a great deal about helping kids learn using fun, interactive activities and working to understand their point of views. I have also taken a child psychology course, which has been very helpful. I have absolutely loved working with my kiddos and building positive relationships with them all. It has been an amazing experience that I am very excited to continue!
