About Tammy

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, flexible and observant. I like working with kids because I find it rewarding! I really love supporting kids, and being there for them, knowing that I'm making a difference. I am a retired police officer. In my role as an officer, I taught DARE in the school system to both fourth and fifth grade. I loved every minute of teaching and interacting with children in my community. I started working with kids when I volunteered in the church nursery in middle school. I babysat all through high school. In my spare time, I like to cycle, ride my horse and read. I love history and like to explore new places. One thing you should know about me is I'm dependable while being flexible. My skills include the ability to communicate, knowledge of first aid and safety precautions and an ability to engage a child.
