Tammy was a member of my mother’s caregiver team for nearly two years, starting out caring for both my mother and father (in their 90’s). Dad passed a couple months after Tammy came to work for us. Shortly after Tammy joined our team, we lost two caregivers at the same time. Tammy quickly jumped in, working extremely long hours until we could hire two new caregivers. She did everything that needed to be done for mom and dad. Tammy earned the love and trust of my mother right away and soon became a member of the family. Tammy has nearly 20 years of experience working as a caregiver. She is extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, caring, and understanding. She truly cares about her patients. She is very easy going which was a wonderful characteristic, because our parents could be quite difficult from time to time. Her attitude helps to make her clients feel safe and secure and happy. My father died from Lewy body dementia. Tammy cared for him in his last stage of the disease. She also accompanied my mother to my dad’s funeral and took care of her throughout the day. My mother was a complete invalid. She was also nearly completely blind, hearing impaired, and had many severe illnesses. She lived in constant pain. However, mom had all of her faculties. Tammy used a Hoyer lift to move her from her bed to her chair, etc. Tammy gave my mother her showers, dressed her and kept her clean, cooked her meals, handled her medications, took care of mom’s home, and provided loving companionship to her for nearly two years. I would highly recommend Tammy to anyone looking for a caregiver. She is the best of the best. And I would be happy to talk to anyone or answer any questions regarding the care that Tammy provided my parents.
